Officially organized in 1943, AMOC responded to a great need and cry from believers in the Northeastern part of America. These believers lived in communities without any Biblical witness for Jesus Christ. Darkened light houses have stranded many struggling seamen on the rocky shores of unbelief. Many communities still have empty churches, empty pulpits, and flocks without shepherds. Through the vision and pioneering spirit of Rev. Lyle Anderson, AMOC was born to help meet this ever increasing need. For the past 60 years, churches that were started, opened, or helped by the ministry of AMOC can be found from Maine to Florida and as far west as Nebraska. |
