| | 10/24/2008 | | Name change for the Niagara Bible Camp | | | | Niagara Adventure Camp is the new name to replace Niagara Bible Camp | | | We are excited about many changes that are happening in regards to our camp ministry; One of which is the board's approval to change the name of Niagara Bible Camp to Niagara Adventure Camp. This will allow us to make greater inroads to reach kids on two area Indian Reservations, plus to make inroads for our camp staff to get into our area public schools. We are hoping to start an "Outdoor Education" program that will reach out to area schools and connect with students. One of Luke Broderick's goals is to find ways to get more unsaved kids to come to camp. Also we are planning on doing more "Adventure" like camp activities as we develop our new property on Slayton Settlement Road.
Niagara Adventure Camp also goes along with the core values that are expressed through the acrostic A.D.V.E.N.T.U.R.E. The letters stand for Advance, Disciple, Value, Encourage, Nurture, Teach, Unite, Relate and Excite through a Bible-centered camp program. | | |
