The Strategy of AMOC is fourfold
Sending - The first phase of our strategy is sending missionaries to the fields that are white unto harvest. This involves recruitment, evaluation of recruits, training, missionary internships and deputation.
Starting - Next is the starting of new works in strategic locations across America. Traditionally AMOC has planted and worked with churches in rural areas, but a great need for the present and future is to expand into the metropolitan areas of our Country.
Stabilizing - Another aspect of AMOC's strategy is to help stabilize struggling and declining churches. Many churches across America are closing their doors for the last time. For over 60 years, AMOC has provided dozens of missionary pastors to assist and revitalize struggling ministries.
Strengthening - One of AMOC's greatest blessings was the aquisition of the Niagara Bible Conference in 1964. NBC complements the AMOC strategy of strengthening by ministering to local churches, pastors, and families in the western part of New York State. Summer youth and teen camps, conferences and retreats, and summer Sunday evenings of combined church worship services are just a few of the ways the NBC arm of AMOC strengthens and adds to the local church. The Mission Headquarters and the Niagara Bible Conference are located on a beautiful 35 acre site on the bluffs of Lake Ontario. |
